Meet Zinaida Kazantseva (ZINA) – one of the Open Call winners selected by the jury for Amsterdam Modestad!

Originally from Ukraine and now based in Amsterdam, Zinaida is a visual artist known for her bold, digitally created female portraits that radiate character, attitude, and mood. Her work reclaims space for female voices — challenging stereotypes while celebrating individuality, irony, and emotional truth.

Her strong graphic style, powerful lines, and eye for detail reflect the vibrant, rebellious spirit of Amsterdam. Through her work, Zina portrays women who embody both strength and sensitivity, always with an edge of irony and emotional depth.
