ILI GALLERY
Founded in Amsterdam in 2020 as I Love Illustration Gallery by curator and art director Anneke Krull, ILI Gallery is a curated platform exploring the intersection of art, fashion and visual culture.
Today, ILI Gallery presents a carefully selected mix of established artists and emerging talents from Amsterdam and beyond. Through exhibitions and curated projects, ILI Gallery creates connections between art, fashion and visual culture.

FEATURED PROJECT:
Amsterdam Modestad
Created to celebrate both the fifth anniversary of ILI Gallery and Amsterdam’s 750th anniversary, Amsterdam Modestad was a milestone in the gallery’s journey.
Developed in collaboration with De Hallen Amsterdam, the project brought together established Dutch fashion illustrators and emerging talent selected through an open call. Alongside the exhibition, the programme featured workshops and a circular fashion market, celebrating Amsterdam’s rich fashion culture through art, creativity and sustainability.
THE NEXT STEP
After six wonderful years in De Hallen Amsterdam, ILI Gallery is taking the next step.
From 2020 to 2026, ILI Gallery was based in a permanent gallery space at De Hallen Amsterdam, presenting a diverse programme of exhibitions that brought together established artists and emerging talents from the Netherlands and abroad.
Today, ILI Gallery continues in a more flexible format, bringing art into new places, collaborations and contexts through pop-up exhibitions, curated art projects and Art Partnerships.
The ILI Gallery online shop remains an important part of the gallery, offering a curated selection of original artworks, limited editions and other works by selected artists.
THE CURATOR
Founder and curator Anneke Krull brings more than 25 years of experience in art direction, fashion, editorial and visual culture.
Before founding ILI Gallery, she worked as an art director for leading Dutch fashion and lifestyle magazines and collaborated with brands and cultural institutions including the Rijksmuseum and Vlisco.
In 2010, she founded I LOVE ILLUSTRATION, an independent platform born from her passion for fashion illustration. Through the blog, she discovered and interviewed fashion illustrators from around the world. This international platform led to her role as editor of The Beautiful: Illustrations in Fashion and Style, published by Gestalten in 2010 and featuring 100 international artists.
In 2020, she initiated Dutch Fashion Illustration, a pop-up exhibition presented in collaboration with Amsterdam Fashion Week, celebrating the creative dialogue between fashion and illustration. The exhibition marked an important milestone in her ongoing exploration of the relationship between art, fashion and visual culture, shortly before the opening of ILI Gallery in De Hallen Amsterdam.
Today, Anneke continues to connect artists, brands, spaces and audiences through exhibitions, collaborations and curated art projects.

Alongside ILI Gallery, ILI Agency represents artists and connects creative talent with brands across fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
ILI Agency exclusively represents Piet Paris and works with a curated international network of illustrators and artists, bringing together the right creative talent for each project.

I Love Illustration HUB is an independent international community bringing together fashion illustrators at every stage of their creative journey.
A platform to discover new talent, exchange ideas, celebrate different perspectives and connect through a shared passion for fashion illustration.
Through open calls, artist features and creative initiatives, the HUB creates opportunities for illustrators to showcase their work, gain visibility and become part of a growing international community.
