Sandy van Helden (1991)

Sandy van Helden graduated in 2013 as an illustrator from the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. She started working as a freelance illustrator after a short traineeship at an advertising agency. She combines free work with commercial jobs for clients such as Nike, Benefit Cosmetics and Spotify.

“I love fresh colors and playful lines and I am inspired by strong women of all shapes and sizes. In addition, I have always had a fascination for fashion, which is also reflected in my work ”.

DE HALLEN AMSTERDAM

De Hallen Amsterdam is located in West, near the center, between the Kinkerstraat, the Bellamyplein, the Tollensstraat and the Ten Katemarkt. The Gallery is located at the small passage in De Hallen with the entrance at the Bilderdijkkade!! From De Hallen parking space go LEFT, walk through and find the gallery at the next passsage on number 5.

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT:

Line 7 from Leidseplein; line 17 from Central Station. Trams stop at the Bilderdijkstraat, Kinkerstraat, Ten Katemarkt stop.

BY CAR:

De Hallen has a public parking garage. The entrance to the parking garage is located at Bellamyplein. Parking costs 3 euros per hour, a day ticket costs 27 euros. Pay only via chip or pin. From the parking space go LEFT to find the gallery on number 5.

BY BICYCLE:

There is a free bicycle shed under the library.
